Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens video game on the way!

StarWars.com have announced a new Lego Star Wars video game, based on The Force Awakens. Due out in June, this will be the fourth Lego Star Wars video game from TT Games, the first of which launched the brilliant Lego video game series! In addition to a light hearted Lego adaptation of the film, the game also promises to:
...offer new story content exploring the time period between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, adding additional insight into the movie and its characters
The game will also offer new game-play features including:
...the “Multi-Builds” system, where players can choose from multiple building options to advance the game; new blaster combat, in which players use surrounding environments to drive back the First Order during intense Blaster Battles; and high-speed flight gameplay through arena-based battles and dogfights in space, while gamers utilize a multitude of vehicles along the way, including the legendary Millennium Falcon. In addition, enemies can now build, too, allowing stormtroopers to support each other with reinforcements, air strikes, and heavy artillery, adding another layer of danger to the game.
Here's the trailer, itself a parody of the film's trailer, packed full of typical Lego humour. Continue below for the first details of variant editions of the game!

Already available to pre-order from Amazon is a "deluxe edition" of the game, featuring dazzling golden packaging, a season pass to allow access to additional downloadable content, and an exclusive Finn in Stormtrooper armour minifigure. Sony have also announced that the Playstation version of the game also promises an exclusive "Phantom Limb Level Pack" and droids character pack.
